Power to the people
SA Power Networks has appointed Sam Bradley as its Chief People Officer (CPO), starting in March.
Bradley has more than 20 years of experience in senior HR and organisational development roles in the public and private sector.
Bradley’s most recent roles include being the Group Executive People & Culture at Beach Energy Ltd, Chief People & Culture Officer at the People’s Choice Credit Union, Executive Manager People & Culture at Resthaven Incorporated and Head of HR (BankSA and Customer Care and Regional Brands and BankSA) at Westpac.
Bradley will join other newly appointed members of the executive team at SA Power Networks. This includes Mark Vincent as the Chief Operating Officer, Jessica Morris as the Chief Customer & Strategy Officer, Kevin Jones as the Chief Financial Officer, Chris Ford as the Chief Digital Officer and Patrick Makinson as the Chief Risk Officer. Richard Amato has also joined as Chief Executive of Enerven, a subsidiary of SA Power Networks competing for national infrastructure projects.
New General Manager at the Adelaide Convention Centre
Sarah Goldfinch has joined the Adelaide Convention Centre as General Manager.
Goldfinch was previously a self-employed Hospitality Consultant at Goldfinch Hospitality Consultancy.
Prior to this she was General Manager at the InterContinental Hotels Group, Hotel Consultant at Adelaide Oval and General Manager at Accor.
PointData appoints Michael Phillipou as Chief Executive Officer
Michael Phillipou has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer at PointData, which provides property valuation data and analytics.
Phillipou has over 20 years of experience as a CEO within the financial technology sector, including recent roles as Executive Advisor at Liberty IT Consulting Group, Director of Financial Services Industry at Amazon Web Services and Non-Executive Director at LIXI Limited.
Phillipou will be based in Sydney and commences with the company on January 29.
PointData is based in Adelaide, Perth and Sydney and recently celebrated its 10-year anniversary.

RSPCA SA welcomes two new board members.
Julie George and Ron Baker have joined the Board of RSPCA South Australia, the State’s leading animal welfare organisation.
George has over 25 years of experience in the corporate and agency marketing roles, having previously run branding and marketing agency Algo Mas.
She is currently the Strategy and Growth Director at Them Advertising and is a member of the Urban Development Institute of Australia’s SA Diversity in Development Committee.
George was previously a Board member of the State Library of South Australia Foundation and the Feast Festival.
Baker is a veterinarian with over 30 years of experience owning and managing veterinary practices.
From 2019-2022, Baker was General Manager of the Specialist and Emergency Hospital Division of Greencross, which is a national veterinary and pet services business.
In 2022, Baker stepped back from veterinary work and began his own consultancy as a business and leadership coach.
Baker is a former state president of the Australian Veterinary Association (AVA) (SA branch) and a member of the AVA Practice Management Committee.
Baker is also on the Board of the Spina Bifada and Hydrocephalus Association (SA).
Former Managing Director of the ASO joins Pembroke School
Pembroke School has announced that Vincent Ciccarello will commence a new role as the Director of Development and Philanthropy starting in April.
Ciccarello was previously the Head of Philanthropy and Enterprise at the Art Gallery of South Australia, the Treasurer of Arts Industry Council of South Australia, and Managing Director and Chief Executive at the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra.
He also worked as a journalist at Solstice Media’s The Independent Weekly from 2004-2006.
Punk rocker joins Renew Adelaide
Renew Adelaide Inc. has announced that Harry Evans will take on the role of Head of Property.
Evans, who graduated from high school in 2016, was a Sales Partner at Turner Real Estate from 2017 to 2022.
He also fronts the Adelaide post-punk band Coldwave.
Investing in a new Non-Executive Director
Capital Prudential has appointed Brenton Mauriello as a Non-Executive Director.
Mauriello has had a varied career in Australia and Thailand over the past 25 years.
His previous roles include being Non-Executive Director at Raimon Land PLC, Executive Chairman at design worldwide partnership and Regional and Vice President Asia Pacific at B. Braun Group.
Capital Prudential is an investment company based on Beulah Road in Norwood.
Inner-city mayor joins Mainstreets SA
Mainstreets SA has welcomed City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters’ Mayor Robert Bria as a new member.
Bria has been Mayor since 2005 and is a former small business owner. He is Chair of the Council’s Business and Economic Development Committee and the Norwood Parade Precinct Committee.
Mainstreets SA describes itself as “dedicated to professional development, celebration and network-building of mainstreet makers.”
