Women’s and Children’s CEO steps down

Lindsey Gough has stepped down from her role as Chief Executive Officer of the Women’s and Children’s Health Network.

Gough has held the role since April 2018, joining the health network with more than three decades of experience in the health sector.

She was previously employed by the Western New South Wales Local Health District, the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service and Health Workforce Australia.

Gough will continue to serve as a Board Member for Health Roundtable and for the Ronald McDonald House Charities South Australia.

Her final day is Friday, September 8.

Rebecca Graham – Chief Executive Officer of the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network – has been appointed interim CEO of the Women’s and Children’s Health Network while the organisation commences a recruitment process.

Her role as CEO will be held in an interim position by Bronwyn Masters, who is the Executive Director of Operations of the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network.

New deputy in town

The Electoral Commission of South Australia has appointed Alice Cashen as Deputy Commissioner for a term commencing on October 5.

Cashen presently works as the Associate Director of Criminal Law for Victoria Legal Aid.

She previously worked for the Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet in roles including Principal Legal Adviser, Family Violence Engagement Secretariat and Assistant Director of the NDIS Reform Branch.

From 2017 to 2020, Cashen was a Teacher and Coordinator of The Rule of Law (Masters of Public Administration) for the Melbourne School of Government.

Star appointment for Southern Launch

Southern Launch has promoted Rebecca Darcey from General Manager of Finance and Corporate Services to Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer.

Prior to joining the space company in 2021, Darcey worked in aviation and defence as a Finance Manager at Cobham Aviation Services (2010 to 2020) and Naval Group Australia (2020 to 2021).

Belinda Vivian

From RAA to Workskil

Belinda Vivian has been appointed Chief People Officer at Workskil Australia – a not-for-profit organisation that provides employment, community and education to individuals living with disadvantage.

Vivian joins the organisation from the Royal Automobile Association (RAA) where she worked for over a decade in roles as Senior Manager of Organisational Capability, Senior Manager of Travel Product and Pricing and the General Manager of People and Environment.

She is the former Talent Manager of the energy company ElectraNet.

Managing risks for Police Credit Union

Police Credit Union has appointed Angela Scarfo as Head of Risk and Compliance.

Scarfo is a South Australia and Northern Territory Chapter Executive Member of the Risk Management Institute of Australasia (RMIA) and the Director and Company Secretary of the Australasian Legal Practice Management Association (ALPMA).

She joins the credit union from the industry superfund Hostplus where she was the Senior Risk Manager.

Scarfo held similar senior management roles with Statewide Super and Peregrine Corporation.

She worked with Minter Ellison from 2004 to 2010 as a Lawyer in the Real Estate Division before being promoted to Risk Management Lawyer – a role she held from 2010 to 2018.

Blasting off to Fleet

Fleet Space Technologies has appointed Alicia Genet as General Counsel.

Genet worked for Santos Ltd from 2012 to 2022 where she started as Principal Strategic Adviser for Eastern Australia and held roles as Head of Risk and Audit, Head of Risk, Audit and Sustainability and Head of Public Affairs and Sustainability before becoming Head of Social Performance and Sustainability in 2021.

She was a Corporate Lawyer for Santos before working as a Lawyer for Herbert Smith Freehills and rejoining the company in 2012.

She is Deputy Chair of the Committee for Adelaide and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Two appointments for Rivergum Group

Rivergum Group – a South Australian new home builder – has appointed Roger Zammit as Chair of the Board.

Zammit is the former Chief Executive Officer of BADGE Constructions where he was employed for almost two decades.

He currently serves as a Board Member of Thaxted Park Golf Club and is the Advisory Board Chairman for Masters in Construction Management for the University of Adelaide.

The building company has also appointed Pas Guerrera as General Manager of Retail.

Guerrera joins the company from Hot Property Group where he was Director of Operations.

He spent two decades with Weeks Building Group where he started as a Site Manager in 2000 and held several management roles before being appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2017.
