Police on Friday said that the firearms were stolen between Friday March 8 and Monday March 11.

Officers searched a Wirrinilla Drive property at Macclesfield yesterday and located eight firearms and ammunition.

Police say the suspect is known to them and is expected to be charged serious firearms offences, with investigations continuing.
