Police said that patrols were called to the Esplanade bottle shop at 2.50am Wednesday after an alarm went off.
They found a rear door had been forced and a large amount of alcohol and cigarettes stolen.
Security vision showed a white Holden utility pull up to the shop and a man wearing dark clothing, black beanie and gloves enter and fill the car with stolen items.
Police said the vision showed two people on bicycles nearby acted as lookouts, with the car and bikes then heading south on Seaview Rd.
About an hour later, police said patrols found a man who had fallen from a bicycle on Seaview Road at Henley Beach South and checks revealed the bike had been stolen about a month ago.
The man also had a laptop and mobile phone suspected of being stolen.
A 39–year-old man from Henley Beach South was charged with theft and unlawful possession and was bailed to appear in court on October 18.
