Police were called to Glenelg jetty at 7.45pm on Sunday after a body was seen floating unresponsive in the water.

Water Operations Unit members attended and swam out to retrieve the woman. She was brought to shore but could not be revived.

Police said on Monday that the death was not suspicious and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
