The Palmer United Party (PUP) continues to use Adelaide as a dumping ground for its DVDs and interstate how-to-vote cards.

Clive Palmer – shipbuilder, mining magnate and the creator of his own political party – is at it again.

InDaily reported yesterday how the Queensland-based party letterboxed its how-to-vote card wrapped around a free DVD of Palmer’s plan to build the Titanic II.

The DVD, distributed throughout the seat of Adelaide on Sunday and Monday, had one slight problem: it listed the party’s Queensland Senate candidate Glenn Lazarus on the front and all the party’s Queensland House of Representatives candidates on the back.

Today a reader has sent us the DVD package that lists New South Wales Senate candidate Matt Adamson on the front cover and how to vote Palmer United in each NSW House of Representatives seat.

It was letterboxed in Unley.

The PUP Senate candidate in South Australia, James McDonald, told us there isn’t a similar DVD package for Adelaide candidates.

“They said that there was a number of DVDs left over and not being used in Queensland, so rather than waste them, they thought they may as well use them here in Adelaide, McDonald said.

“It’s better than having them go to waste.”

Now we’re getting the NSW leftovers as well.
