The Robe Hotel has unveiled the final stages of its refurbishment, just in time to watch the ANZAC Day footy.

The Robe Hotel was built in 1847 and is one of the Limestone Coast town’s community hubs, but venue manager and local David Murch said the popular hotel was in need of an off-season facelift.
The bistro has been revamped with an upgraded bar, booth seating, new carpet and furniture, while the beer garden now has casual picnic tables and permanent outdoor bar to serve punters at its weekly lineup of live music during peak season.

“This revamp has been a long time coming and we know our community will love it just as much as we do,” Murch said.
“It means [the Hotel] can continue to be a hub for our community for years to come.
“We’re throwing a Locals Weekend to welcome everyone back; it’ll be the perfect way for our patrons to see what’s new and break-in the revamp.”

Long weekends are especially busy at the hotel and Murch said it would be business as usual on Thursday with the ANZAC Day AFL clash on pub screens.
