Farmers’ markets are popping up across the state, giving everyone the chance to take gourmet produce home with them.

The Wayville Showgrounds transform into the Adelaide Showgrounds Farmers’ Market every Sunday morning, offering the best in fresh local produce. The Adelaide Farmers’ Market recently launched their village-style branch at Prospect, creating another avenue for residents to purchase local produce each Thursday afternoon.

Just outside the city, visit the Adelaide Hills Farmers Market at Mount Barker. Less than an hour’s drive from Adelaide you can stop at Hahndorf for some German fare, pick strawberries or collect premium jams from Beerenberg Farm.

On your way to Fleurieu Peninsula’s amazing beaches this summer, stop by the Willunga Farmers Market held each Saturday in Willunga’s town square.

Take a different route to the Barossa or discover the Adelaide Hills via the Mount Pleasant Farmers’ Market held each Saturday morning at the Mount Pleasant Showgrounds.
