BHP Cu-een on South Australian copper
BHP has announced that Anna Wiley will take on the role of Asset President Copper South Australia, where she will oversee BHP’s South Australian copper business at Olympic Dam, Carrapateena and Prominent Hill.
Wiley has more than 20 years’ experience in mining and leadership roles, including most recently as Head of Asset Management at BHP, a General Manager role at Rio Tinto Iron Ore and as Vice President Planning & Technical for Minerals Australia.
Whitebark Limited appointment/resignation
Whitebark Energy Limited have announced the resignation of Duncan Gordon as Non-Executive Chairman, with Mark Lindh taking over his role.
Lindh is a founder and principal at investment banking firm AE Advisors. He is currently Non-Executive Director of Bass Oil Ltd and Non-Executive Chairman at Aerometrex Ltd.

The luck of the Irish
Matthew Cush has been appointed to the role of Chief Executive Officer at IT company DRGroup.
Cush has been at the company since immigrating to Australia in 2006 and was the Chief Operations Manager from 2017.
Prior to joining DRGroup, Cush was a Technical Specialist at Northgate Information solutions in Ireland and a Service Engineer at EDC Queens University in Belfast.

Former Crows footballer joins Maras Group
Former Crows footballer Daniel Talia will join Maras Group as Lead Manager – Urban Spaces, where he will lead a new business line identifying development opportunities in the urban residence space.
Talia wore the number 12 guernsey for the Adelaide Football Club from 2010-2021, playing some 200 games.
From January 2022 to December 2023, Talia was an Acquisitions Manager at MRS Property.
Maras Group is a property developer that owns buildings throughout Adelaide, including 18 properties in the East End, the Palace Nova Cinema at Prospect, Target on Unley Road and the South Australian Police building on Grenfell Street.
Northern suburbs 3D metal printer appoints new Non-Executive Director
Peter Siebels has been appointed to the role of Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee of large-scale 3D metal printing business AML3D.
For the past five years, Siebels was Independent Chairman at Hood Sweeney and before this he was Chairman of the Electricity Industry Superannuation Scheme and Principal at 4D Advisory Pty Ltd.
AML3D is located in the Adelaide suburb of Edinburgh.
Fresh leadership at elite Catholic girl’s school
Kylie McCullah has joined Loreto College Marryatville as Principal following the departure of Dr Nicole Archard.
McCullah previously held the position of Head of Academics (Deputy Headmistress) at St Catherine’s School in Sydney.
Prior to this, she was the Director of Studies at St Clare’s College Waverly in Sydney, Head of Technological and Applied Studies at Mount St Joseph School in Sydney and a Computing Studies Teacher at St Patrick’s Marist College in Sydney.
Loreto College has also recently appointed Lisa Sexton to the position of Assistant Principal: Head of Junior School.
Loreto College is a private Catholic girl’s school located in Marryatville.
New Advertising Graphic Design Coordinator joins the SALIFE team
Anna-Louise Mobley will join Solstice Media as SALIFE’s new Advertising Graphic Design Coordinator from Monday, January 29.
For the past decade, Anna has worked as a freelance graphic designer at Anna-Louise Design.
She was also a Studio Educator for the University of South Australia Bachelor of Design (Communication) from July 2023 to November 2023.
Prior to this, she was a Production Officer/Graphic Designer for the SACE Board and a Marketing Project Officer and Graphic Designer at Gowrie SA.
SAIA says benvenuto to its new Association Manager
The South Australian Italian Assoc. Inc (SAIA) has appointed Sylvana D’Elena as its Association Manager.
D’Elena was previoulsy Business Services Manager at the Animal Welfare League, Operations Manager and Store Proprietor at Aroma Café, Administrative Officer at the University of South Australia and Business Office Manager at ELB Electroboard Australia.
The current South Australian Italian Association was established in 1967 as a community organisation for Italian South Australians and to promote the Italian language and culture.
