The Triple M breakfast trio of Mark Ricciuto, Laura O’Callaghan and Chris Dittmar claimed another breakfast win in the latest GfK radio ratings survey released on Tuesday.
The station was also number one overall in Adelaide for the third survey in a row, commanding 13.2 per cent of total listenership across all demographics and session slots.
In the breakfast slot, the Roo, Ditts and Loz-anchored show won 12.3 per cent of total listeners, which was a 2.2 percentage point decline on the previous survey.
That was still enough to keep the trio on top, with ABC Radio Adelaide’s breakfast show hosted by Sonya Feldhoff and Jules Schiller coming in at second place with 11.6 per cent of breakfast listeners – down from 12.1 per cent in the last survey.
FIVEaa’s breakfast program took a tumble in this latest report, falling by 0.9 percentage points to 11.3 per cent which meant the ABC’s Jules and Sonya could leapfrog the David Penberthy and Will Goodings-helmed program.
Nova 91.9 also jumped up two positions in the breakfast rankings after growing its listener base by a full percentage point – more growth than any other station in the breakfast timeslot.
Mix 102.3 and SAFM tied for fifth place in breakfast, while Cruise took out the wooden spoon. Overall, Triple M maintains its dominance of Adelaide airwaves, sitting comfortably with a full percentage point lead over its closest rival, Mix 102.3.
Nova 91.9 is the third pick for Adelaide listeners, followed by SAFM at 9.4 per cent, Cruise at 8.8 per cent, ABC Radio Adelaide at 8.1 per cent and FIVEaa at 7.7 per cent.
Both ABC Adelaide and FIVEaa saw their listenership fall in each session slot across the week and on weekends in the latest survey.
The biggest drop for ABC was in the morning, afternoon and drive times, while FIVEaa’s biggest losses were in the breakfast and morning sessions.

Triple M takes over as the leading station for those aged 40-54, while those aged 55-64 are tuning into Mix 102.3 (14.8 per cent) and FIVEaa (14.7 per cent).

In other session slots, Triple M’s breakfast dominance translates into an even stronger performance in the morning session (9 am-12 pm), with 15.1 per cent of total listeners.
This continues into the afternoon where the station leads the 12-4 pm session slot but drops off in the evenings (7 pm-12 am) where FIVEaa and Mix 102.3 are tied for first place.
On the weekends, Adelaide listeners tune into both Mix 102.3 and Triple M which tied for first place with 12 per cent of listener share.
