Commenting on Notes on Adelaide: Adelaide’s heritage protection is wafer thin
It is not just the protection of heritage buildings that is wafer thin. It is the even thinner protection of our city and inner-suburban hospitality precincts.
This proposal not only will take out the building but takes a big bite out of the East End which is unforgivable given that it is arguably the heart of the city, especially since Festival Plaza is to be lost to the community. – Robert Farnan
And Adelaide still refers to itself as a UNESCO City of Music. Who are they kidding. – William Bourke
And then there is the other sign of the coin, where the Government did save and preserve a building in King William St.
Later sold it off and it now sits empty and unused. – John McGeever
