It was for only one day -- March 5. When contacted, the hotel could not offer an explanation. "There was nothing that big here at our hotel at that time, " said a senior hotel employee, who did not want to be named. Read more page 2. SPORT Aussies top in World Cup OSCARS RED CARPET FASHION Voter satisfaction with South Australian Premier Mike Rann and his Labor government has tumbled as the Liberal Party gains ground ahead of the March 20 election, a Newspoll has found. The Newspoll, published in The Australian today, shows support for both major parties level at 50 per cent. But dissatisfaction with Mr Rann has grown to 48 per cent from 38 per cent in October to December last year. The Liberal Party and its leader, Isobel Redmond, need to pick up another 10 seats at the election to form government and end Mr Rann's eight-year tenure as premier. YouTube driver identified A man has presented himself to the Holden Hill police station as the alleged driver of the car that performed a burnout in Rundle Street on Friday night. YouTube footage of the stunt surfaced yesterday, prompting a call from police for the driver to come forward or for the public to help identify him. He will appear in court at a later date. Hotel break-in at Seaton Thieves smashed the dining room windows of the Seaton Hotel, at the corner of Tapleys Hill Road and Clark Terrace, in the early hours of this morning, stealing eight bottles of assorted spirits. A search of the area failed to find the offenders and western Adelaide police are seeking information from the public.
