The State Government is still determined to stop an anti-corruption body despite legislation already prepared and passed in Parliament's upper house late last night. The private member's legislation went through despite every Labor Government MP voting against it. The Government will use its superior numbers in the lower house to kill an independent commission against crime and corruption before it's even born.
