BUSINESS Victim identification specialists from the Australian Federal Police have removed a fourth body from the plane at the site but an Australian helicopter has been unable to winch the bodies from the site due to poor weather and rough terrain. Nine Australians were among the 13 killed when an Airlines PNG flight from Port Moresby to Kokoda crashed on Tuesday. Foreign Minister Stephen Smith said the recovery effort would be slow and frustrating. “We now have to brace ourselves for what will be potentially a painstaking and long process, much longer than we would want,” Mr Smith said. It is hoped that the construction of a temporary helipad near the crash site will speed up the recovery and investigation process. The man has been extradited to SA to face rape and assault charges related to an offence allegedly committed in Kilburn in 1990. He will face court on Monday.
