Tech giant steps down

Scott Farquhar has stepped down as the co-CEO of Australian tech company Atlassian and will officially finish on August 31.

Farquhar founded Atlassian in 2002 alongside his University of New South Wales classmate Mike Cannon-Brookes.

Farquhar will stay at Atlassian in a special advisor role at the company and will remain a member of its board, while Cannon-Brookes will continue as the sole Chief Executive.

Michael Luchich joins SA Health

Michael Luchich has been announced as the Chair of SA Health’s Statewide Clinical Support Services Committee.

Luchich is currently a board member of the South Australian Skills Commission, Chair of the Industry Skills Council SA, Chairperson of the Women’s & Children’s Hospital Foundation and a Board Director of ACH Group.

Luchich was previously a board director of the Flinders Medical Centre Foundation.

He has held other executive positions including as Chairman of Country Arts South Australia and the Adelaide Festival Centre Foundation, Interim CEO of the South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre, State Director (SA and NT) of Global Enterprise Services at Telstra and National Executive General Manager (Australia and New Zealand) of Dell Computers Australia.

Senior Manager, Partnerships, Events & Communications for peak industry association the Association of Independent Schools of South Australia. This newly created role reports to the Chief Executive and will drive advocacy and member engagement through impactful strategic communications.

Experienced healthcare executive joins Digivate Health

Lindsey Gough has joined Digivate Health as an executive advisor.

Gough is currently the chairperson of the Health Roundtable Data and Governance Board Committee and Director of the Board of Directors at Ronald McDonald House Charities South Australia.

Before this, she was CEO of the Women’s and Children’s Health Network, Executive Director of Operations at the Western New South Wales Local Health District and Executive Director of Medicine of the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service, among other roles.

According to its website, Digivate Health “is a leading provider of specialised health advisory, collaborating with medical and healthcare organisations Australia-wide”.

Health Partners gets a new non-executive director

Suhit Anantula has joined as Non-Executive Director at not-for-profit health insurer Health Partners.

Anantula has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare, technology, innovation, digital and design industries in the private and public sector.

He has been working as Director of Policy and System Reform and Director of Technology Strategy and Policy in the Department of the Premier and Cabinet for the past two and a half years.

Before this, Anantula was CEO of GP Partners Australia – a not-for-profit providing support and training for GPs – as well as the healthcare-focused venture capital fund GP InnoVentures and Innovation Advisor at the Commission on Excellence and Innovation in Health.

He was also the Founder & CEO of Plexus Research, which bills itself as the “[l]argest clinical trial network in South Australia”.

Health Partners has been operating in South Australia for more than 80 years and runs dental and optical centres across metropolitan Adelaide.

Restless Dance Theatre has announced the appointment of Andrew Mailler as the new chair of its board, where he has been treasurer since 2022.

Mailler replaces Nick Linke, who joined the Restless Dance board in 2009 and has been chair for the past five years.

Mailler is currently the managing director of 54 Point Consulting, executive leader and senior advisor at Leaders On Demand and treasurer of the Adelaide Fringe board.

Restless Dance has also welcomed Stuart O’Loughlin, Jacinta Thompson, Susan Thacore, Simone McDonnell and Delano Leen as board members.

Restless Dance Theatre is a dance troupe that is inclusive of people with disability.
